The Socio Economic Education Development and Charitable Trust (SEED-TRUST Kerala) is established to undertake purely educational and charitable activities for the benefit of humanity. Below is a concise summary of its main objectives and activities:

 

A. General Public Utility


Research & Awareness: Study and research public issues, providing information on causes and solutions.

Personal & Social Growth: Promote measures for peace and societal development.

Training Programs: Offer training in counseling, leadership, and rural development to foster social change.

 

Institutions: Establish and maintain educational, technical, and rehabilitation centers for those facing spiritual, mental, physical, or social challenges.

Service & Support: Help people in difficult situations and promote universal brotherhood through inter-religious programs.

 

Youth Development: Develop leadership and personal growth in youth through training and vocational guidance.

 

Cultural & Spiritual Values: Promote cultural, social, and spiritual values through shared platforms and religious studies.

Community Amenities: Establish reading rooms, libraries, and prayer halls, and support renovations of religious places.

 

Economic Empowerment: Organize tailoring classes, small-scale industries, and self-employment initiatives for economically disadvantaged women.

Marriage Assistance: Conduct marriages for socially and economically backward women.

B. Education


Educational Institutions: Establish and support schools, colleges, polytechnics, and vocational training centers.

 

Rehabilitation Centers: Provide homes and schools for displaced individuals, including widows, school dropouts, and addicts.

 

Scholarships & Awards: Offer scholarships, stipends, and prizes to deserving students and teachers.

 

Social Harmony: Educate people on social concerns, communal harmony, and national integration.

 

Libraries & Book Banks: Establish and maintain libraries and reading rooms.

 

Lectures & Seminars: Organize events on Indian culture, religion, and academic subjects.

C. Medical Relief


Healthcare Facilities: Establish hospitals, clinics, and research units focusing on modern and traditional medicine.

 

Medical Camps: Organize free medical camps in rural and remote areas.

Support for the Disabled: Provide medical relief to the physically and mentally challenged, aged, and underprivileged.

 

D. Relief to the Poor


Community Support: Construct community halls, rest houses, and provide food for the poor.

Emergency Relief: Offer cash grants, clothing, and shelter during natural calamities or emergencies.

Underprivileged Support: Aid women, rural poor, and unemployed individuals to improve their social, economic, and cultural well-being.

Incidental Objectives


Collaboration: Work with other organizations and the government for developmental activities.

 

Seminars & Workshops: Conduct programs to encourage public participation in the Trust's objectives.

Cooperative Societies: Establish youth clubs, health centers, and educational institutions.

 

Fund Management: Raise funds through donations, endowments, and investments.

 

Property & Assets: Acquire and manage properties to further the Trust's goals.

 

Non-Profit: Ensure no profits are distributed among members; all income is used for the Trust's objectives.

 

Trust Property & Management
 

The Trust Property includes an initial corpus of ₹7,000 and future donations, grants, and assets.

The Board of Trustees holds and manages the Trust property. The board includes:
